i went to the doctor yesterday and when she took my sugar it was 130. she said that if it was 140 then i would need to worry but i still need to slow down on the sugars. well thats all i have been cravin here lately is sweets...so i am just wondering if eating candy and sweet stuff a little throughout the day will be okay. and if not, what are the consequences?
I would try as best as you can to stay away from the sugar. I developed GD with my third pregnancy after being sensitive to the sugar in my first two.
Fruit is sweet and can sometimes help satisfy, but you have to be careful with that if you do have GD because it has carbs in it. Its ok to have a little, but just cut the piece of cake in half, or have half the candy bar instead of the whole.

I always seem to be on the higher level. My body converts all carbs into sugar. So english muffins, pizza ect all show's up in my pee. It's never been a real issue. Was just told to try and balence it all out. So I would say your probably fine, but try and eat some good stuff too!
