Tomorrows My Confirmation.. Any advice?

I took a hpt on halloween and it showed positive so i went to the doc on mon and made a confirmation appt for tomorrow around 1 pm. I am extemely excited to see how far along I am, so Im going to be kinda pushy for an u/s. My last period (sept 11) was very irregular, spotty for about two weeks. So Im not really sure how far I am. Could be 8-10wks. Im hopin that I was already pregnant then so I can be farther along. Kinda scary cuz I've had three miscarriages in the past couple years. I think its mostly due to my health and weight. Im about 5' and weight about 95 lbs on average. I have a really high metabolism so its hard for me to gain any weight.
Im excited to see what the doctor has to say, and how well the baby is doing.
Is there any questions I should ask my doctor? Or any advice about what to expect at this doc visit?

I've always had an ultrasound on my first appointment for dating purposes. As far as questions, do you have any? Do you know the OB?

The doctors in my area will only due one ultrasound (because insurance only pays for one) unless there is a real medical reason to do more. Maybe because of miscarriages they will and you can mention that and hopefully they will! I had a pap done both times (I have a different doctor than with my first baby) and they checked my uterus to see how far along I felt. I would ask about weight gain questions plus miscarriage concerns. Write everything down so you don't forget any questions! They are really exciting appts! Congrats!!!

the doc she is going to see if a family practice doc. he usually does not do ultrasounds until atleast 20wks unless there are problems or u really have no idea when u would have concieved.
i saw the guy got the first half of my first pregnancy then i moved out of state, and i have had other friends how have seen him and he is great. so i suggested him to her..the other OBGYN's in that town are mean and rude, i have had a friend who had seen them and she hated it..

HI! im a 20 yr old disposable diapering, CIO attempting, vaxing (but no flu shot), circ'ing, BFing AND FFing, vaginal and c-section birthing, co-sleeping, SAHM to two BOYS. i have been fairly happily married since i was 17 to my high school sweetheart who i met when i was 15. yes i am a "teen mom" but i also graduated high school early. so dont tell me im too young because i will tell you your too old!
