The classic method of calculating due dates uses the date of your last menstrual period (LMP).  This method assumes a cycle length of 28 days, with ovulation on day 14.  You take your LMP, add 7 days, subtract 3 months, then add one year. 

well the doctors dont seem to care when you concieved they add another 2 weeks in there just because  they go from your last period like i concieved in the middle of august but when i went in they told me i was already a month along which i know that is not right that is why they let pregnant people go until they are 42 weeks prego cuz they add that extra 2 weeks in there like right now i am suppose to only be 11 weeks almost 12 but i am almost 14 weeks

My doctor told me tha ta pregnancy is actually 10 months. Because it takes a month between conception and knowing you are pregnant. So he said to go by the last menstrual period.

If you have a normal 28 day cycle and you conceived Sep 27 then you would be 7 weeks 5 days and your due date would be June 20 2010

and it gave an EDD of June 10th. 

Well to help you out my last AF was Sept. 25th and I jsut went to the doctor and he told me I was due July 2nd...and that was based on a 28 day cycle..but I told him my cycles have been 40 days for the past three months and he said it will change once they see an u/s and measure the baby. Hopefully I helped...I figure since u were two days after me u would be due July 4th!!!!

Your due date is 38 weeks away from your conception date, so late June is about right! See you in the June 2010 group! : )

the best way i can tell you to do it is go 3 months and 2 weeks back from sept. 27th... If it helps i conceived sept. 11th they say the 12th and my due date is june 5th... so 15 days from the 12th would be 27th, making your possible due date june 20th... not a dr. but just going from mine...

they dont add 2 weeks , by the time the egg is fertilized 14 days have past meaning you are already 4 weeks pregnant when you get a postive test even though its only 2 weeks after you ovulate!!

believe me i calculated my ovulation and your 2 weeks the day you concieve since the egg has been growing for two weeks in your ovarie before its released!! your cycle is based on a 28 day cycle! period...14 days untill ovulate....14 days untill period (cant get a positive untill missed period) hope that makes sence
