severe pelvic pain

OKay so the past week or so I have had really bad pain in my pelvic area, like my legs are being ripped out of my pelvis. At first it was just every now and then and tolerable but tonight it is really bad. Last night was too. Anytime I get up and walk it really does feel like my legs are being ripped out. I haven't had many contractions, but thi sharp pain is so uncomfortable and so bad that I have to stop walking and grab onto something until it stops. I don't think it is labor because I am not having bad contractions, but I don't know what to do. I don't want to go to the hospital for no reason and freak everyone else out that I am in labor (my due date is tomorrow). It is not AS bad when I sit down so I think it is just pressure from the baby, but it hurts SO BAD. What do I do? Has  anyone experienced this?

Sounds like the sciatic nerve. I had that with my last pregnancy. I couldnt put any pressure on my left leg. It killed. Like someone was stabbing me! Its from the way the baby is laying. theres nothing you can really do until you give birth.

I would say at least go in and be checked... sometimes pelvic pain can be a sign that you're effacing but i'm not a doctor, but even if it's nothing at all they can give you something to help with the pain or to sleep... hope this helps, I can only remember pain that was unbearable during preterm labor and labor it's self......  but on a different note it could just be the baby putting a lot of pressure on your pelvic bones, you are due tomorrow... so the munchin is getting bigger... Hope this helps!
