I am 8 weeks pregnant today and I never feel hydrated. I drink all day but it doesnt help. I had an ultra sound and she told me I was really hydrated and I told her I really didnt feel like it I felt dehydrated. She had made me empty my bladder before the ultra sound and it was full again by the end. What can I do or what might be causing this?
I feel the same way. I'm 6 weeks today and constantly parched. All I drink is water and oj. Its never enough. At work I'm going through probaby 6 bottles of water and still drink more when I get home. I figure it can't be a bad thing, but I don't really know. Rather drink too much than not enough.
Do you notice it at any particular time of the day, like first thing in the morning or before bed? Are you well nourished? Taking a prenatal vitamin supplement?
I think that your body is trying to tell you something... Maybe you're deficient somewhere (else). You might try drinking herbal teas, juices, "Emergen-C" or similar some of the time. Maybe it will help you to replace electrolytes or whatever might be missing.

great question! I drink water out of a sports bottle all day long, filling it atleast 4-5 times a day..however I feel like I can't quench my thirst.should I try something other than water maybe?? love to know some good answers to this question...congrats with your pregnancy too!!
I drink ginger ale for my stomache when I feel really sick but besides tonight at dinner I dont drink soda. I drink alot of juice and milk. I fill a 1 leter bottle of juice multiple times a day.

what do you usually drink??? if it's soda then thats why you feel dehydrated all the time. try drinking water with a slice of lemon in it that should help some!
