Well most of those women were very early in their pregnancies, however it is sad for their loss.  I got both of my flu shots.  The regular 1 month ago (got it with all 3 of my pregnancies never had a problem) and got the H1N1 3 weeks ago and Sofia is still fine and thriving.  Any complications in my health or pregnancy has nothing to do with that.  She has a chyroid plexus cyst  (which has NOTHING to do with that) and I got a kindey infection which required me to be hospitalized for a few days but that had nothing to do with that either.  My baby was monitored everyday in the hospital and I get another u/s soon and I feel her bouncing around all the time.. more propaganda against the shot.  Iwould be more likely to beleive that there is a corrilation if it came from a more reputable medical website, not based on something said on about.com

She still has a CPC? They are usually gone by now. Did they test her for anything?

I am a Canadian, breastfeeding (it IS best, there is nothing even close to that nutrition and bond), co sleeping, extended rear facing (if you don't rear face to the maximum of your seat, you're NOT doing all you can to protect your child), baby wearing, Non spanking (I want my kids to respect me, not fear me) ANTI- CIO, homemade baby food making, cloth diapering, organic (chemical free household!) recycling mama to TWO! My husband is my equal and best friend, not my master and I believe basic health care should be a human RIGHT, not a privilege.

That many?? there isn't that many compared to the amount of women getting it.  There are more women at my practice pregnant than listed in that article. I  highly doubt it was the vaccine.

I havent had my f/u u/s yet.  My appointment is tomorrow, they were more concerned about healing my kidneys that thatu/s at that time.  At the level II scan they went through everything and said she looks perfect and that my chances for Trisotomy 18 went from 1 in 20000 to 1 in 4500 but not enough to warrant an amnio

Well i guess we just dont see eye to eye on the subject and thats fine. But i feel that even 1 baby lost to any vax is 1 too many.

I got the vaccine a couple weeks ago because i was babysitting a kid who's mom had h1n1. I didnt have him the whole time she was sick but I starting having symptoms for it and decided to get the vaccine. I have not had any problems. I think its probably just coincedence that all these women at miscarriages esp in the time its most common to have them during the first trimester.

I am glad to find information like this, but I am not basing my decision not to get the shot on this or any other information for or not for the shot. I have never been one to get the flu vaccine, and I won't this year either. I don't like sticking much into my body while I am pregnant (which includes tylenol or any other medicines), so I am not getting either shots. They have not been studied directly on pregnant woman or on pregnant women in any of the three trimesters to show the safety to the fetus. There have been too many items that were claimed to be safe that turned around and were found out way too late to be not safe. I would rather be too careful than not careful enough.
