Do you save names?

Do you save your favorite names for your babies?  We always start over with new name lists after each child. I like to go with how I am feeling that pregnancy. We have very rarely carried a name over from one baby list to the next. Am I the odd one out?

I am only on #2 but we didnt carry over any of the boy names we had liked with DS. Mainly bbecaus ewe couldnt agree on any of them and finally found a new one we liked. However had DS been a girl he would have been a variation of this ones name. We are naming this baby girl Kaydence Isabel, and we probably would have named the last one Isabel ______ (something), but Isabel is my grandma's name so we didnt think it up.

BTW I love your kids names!!! I love the uniqueness of them all! We get alot of trouble about DS name and how we spelled it so its nice to see another mom with dufferent spellings too!

My DH said if we ever had a daughter he wanted an Alex-- I agreed on some variation of Alex. So in that respect yes we carried the name over. But since we're having another boy we're starting over from scratch.

We've always just kindof agreed on them. We have this one's picked out already and I'm only about 4 weeks or so.... We had it picked out before our last son was even born.... hehehe, we like to plan ahead!!!

awww thankyou! After our 1st we couldn't really go with something simple like Bob. It just wouldn't have been fair. LOL!

I LOVE the name Kaydence. Very pretty!

we have never carried over a name either. i'm the same way.. have to feel it. Usually after we find out its a boy or girl when i hear the name i know thats the name. its very hard for me to pick before hand. i can't just pick a name and have it grow on me i have to have that gut feeling that that is it.

Your kids have some awesome names too!  That is great you picked a name out already. It took us forever to come up With Cashton's name.

Yep, that is exactly how I feel. Almost like the little one chooses their own name.

Yes! Georgia was my girl name when my son was born and the only reason I was disappointed that he wasn't a girl was that I didnt get to use it!

Well it was easy if it's a boy, he will be named after my Hubby cause he is the second boy too: Robert Thomas Dill IV. We had a harder time with a girl's name: Persaius Luanne Dill. But they were picked out a long time ago, hehehe! Oh and we even have the next sons first name picked out: Finnagan
