i am soooooo scared that i am going to poop during labor does anyone else have this fear i didnt poo with my first baby but i been hearing alot of stories i am scared of that more so then labor its self lol how embarrassing would that be so do u fear this or has this ever happened to you ?
I was so worried but I didn't with my first and hopefully won't won't this this one. I think most women have this fear and its totally normal if you do. They are so used to it they simply take it away and its gone. I figure I will focus on the delivery and not worry about pooping this time around.
haha thats funny i have the same fear!! i told my boyfriend and now he cant wait to see if i do! what a turd (literally)! lol ive heard that even if you do you dont even know because your too concentrated on gettin that baby out and the nurses swoop the poop away so fast! But lets hope we dont poo anyways lol
I did with my first... and the dr's are soo used to it, they wipe it off, and put a clean mat under you. No biggie to them. My hubby made a bigger deal outta it then anyone. Honestly, I didn't really even know that happened ( was a teen mom and didn't know much about being pregnant or giving birth..)
I did with my last baby, but didn't know until later on.
I have attended births where mom does and where she doesn't. If she does poop, she doesn't usually seem to know (or act like she knew, anyway, doesn't care).
One time I was with a mom who did know she had to poop (they always say that, but it's usually just the baby, lol).
It always gets cleaned up immediately. No one says a word or thinks ANYthing of it. It's very common.
Know that it's no big deal! ;-)
fyi~ a very comfortable, private, and productive way to labor is sitting on the toilet... this helps your poo to be easily dealt with already! Moms seem to really get that baby down more quickly when squatting/on a birth stool/on the toilet!

It's ok you want to read of funny story get jenny Mccarthy book belly laughs so funny she was also worried about that. But I know I did but not one person said a word...thats what they get for not letting me go before hand. lol. I wouldn't worry about it they won't even think twice about it.
I totally read that when I was pregnant!! I also thought the "stonehenge" poop story was hilarious. I ended up pooing, and the only one who said anything was my husband...but I warned him about the possibility beforehand, lol!
