OMG I hate the hunger feeling pregnancy gives me. Its not the casual, "hmmm, I could go for some pizza" feeling- its "GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND FEED ME NOW!!!!" Food smells so goooood, unless its nauseating (fortunately not often for me). And I really think that it TASTES better! I think the heightened sense of smell kicks up the taste buds a notch. I'm already getting sick of the "I just ate so much I couldn't breathe well an hour ago and I'm hungry again" feeling! Ok, so its not quite THAT bad, but still. I'm barely 4 weeks pg and frustrated. Why can't I have a normal body and just have no clue until I'm 6w?
I dunno- my frustration is probably compounded by the ENTIRE PAN of ready to eat Stouffer's lasagna I dropped in the bottom of the oven- don't ask...I nearly lost it when I did that! I ended up scooping it back up into the plastic dish and eating what mush I could save. >SIGH< I'm ecstatic to be pregnant...but I hate it!!!
Lol- pls don't let my negativity stop you from joining my group, I'm a really positive person when I'm not mourning the loss of Stouffers :-D

hahahahahaha! I know what you mean about mourning the Stouffer's! I made a chicken pot pie once, and it was the last real meal i could make until next payday which was a week away. I pulled it out of the oven, DD comes running through, so i got distracted trying to yell at her to get out of the kitchen, and dropped my pie into the oven. I cried. With just me and DD, a chicken pot pie lasts about 4 or 5 dinners. I was able to salvage about 2 nights worth, then we had PB&J sandwiches every night until payday :(
And food DOES taste better when pregnant!!

LOL! No worries, most of us have been taken over by human hoovers :-)

lol! i've mourn the loss of stouffers too when preggers. i didnt drop it in the oven though...i cooked it too long so alot of the sauce and noodles were completely dried out or burnt. i was telling my hubby how i would like to cut off my nose because the sense of smell is so powerful. i made my hubby change the kids clothes because they had a little bit of bacon bits on their fries last night...and i could smell it on thier clothes...ahhh. enjoy being preggers! :)
