I have decided against that testing. I don't want to know honestly. If something is wrong I'll find out at birth. If they tell me something is wrong they could be WRONG anyway. I don't want it.
Everytime I have an OB appointment he asks about my decision on the testing. Everytime I tell him I have decided against it. I am so annoyed for he ASKS EVERYTIME. I've seen him every week for the past month due to being home on medical leave. So he's asked quite often.
Did you get the testing? If not, do you feel like your OB really wants you to?

We did with our first and plan to with the second. We talked and decided that no matter the results, we would certainly keep this baby... it would just help us prepare in the event that something is wrong.
I don't test, I feel alot like you about it all.

I did it with my boys. It came back positive, and that is how we found out I was carrying twins was when we went in for the emergency sonogram! It came back positive because of course two babies were releasing spinal fluid and that is why the fluid count was so high.
I did it with this one too and it came back negative, because there are precautions you have to take in a pregancy if there is a chance your baby has it. But I understand why you didn't.
