How accurate are HPT!!!!! I Severly need advice.........
Ok so my situation is crazy. I had a miscarriage about to weeks ago. I took a EPT digital and it said not pregnant. So i thought all was done I was not prego anymore. Just yesterday I took a walgreens digital and it said pregnant clear as day not one test but two of them said pregnant. my question is how accurate are they and can I be pregnant so soon after having a miscarriage. Does anybody know the HCG levels on those digital test. Thanks
With my oldest I took one and it was true. My youngest I took 5 at different times and I ended up taking one the day before my period and it said pregnant. I knew I was. So 4 negatives with her and 1 positive. And then with this one all 4 of them came back positive and I was
I got pregnant with my daughter the next cycle after a miscarriage, it was a shock but we still had planned on trying again, just didn't think it would happen so fast! I would set up and appt. just based off the fact you recently had a miscarriage. Good luck~ and congrats!

You should contact your doctor because if you had a miscarriage due to a molar pregnancy, it could become a growth of sorts and cause your hormone levels to go back up. If you miscarried only 2 weeks ago, I think it would be a bit early to get a positive HPT since I believe it usually takes about 9 days after ovulation for the fertilized egg to implant.

Untrue. It's totally possible to get pregnant right after a loss, that's for sure. But you are not a lot more fertile after a loss. You are actually LESS fertile, as your progesterone level tends to be lower for a couple cycles.
It can take up to six weeks for the hCG levels to go back to pre-pregnant levels after a loss. The test could be positive still from the loss. However, because you had a negative test in between, it increases the liklihood that it is another pregnancy. If I were you I'd be checking in with my doctor, personally, or you can wait it out and see what happens.

i got preg in feb 07 and THOUGHT and TOLD by the hospital i had a miscarriage they told us to go home and starting trying again in 3 months well we never started trying again i took it as god saying we were not ready so we started using protection. i started getting a bump which was really weird since i was not pregnant right. so i went to the doc and long storey short i was 18 weeks and 3 day with a lil boy! i wish you the best of luck!
