red raspberry leaf tea is used to tone the uterus and will not bring on labor.... although it is suggested for use and good for you!  as far as the evening primrose oil, i have only ever used it orally from week 36 on in order to help this the cervix by my due date (although not this time around)...  i'm afraid i don't have any experience using it vaginally, although i have heard that it can be used that way.

from what i understand about all such 'natural' induction methods, if your baby isn't ready to be born, there really isn't anything that will force it to happen.

i used the caps vaginally with my second, i just put one in before i went to bed. i wasn't exactly sure how often/much to do.  i also drank the tea everyday two times a day.  i went 5 days overdue and was induced twice. so it didn't exactly work lol i'm drinking the tea this time because i like it lol. i got the caps at walmart in the vitamin section, and the tea i got at a health food store

I have never used EPO vaginally but I have taken them orally ;-)

I took Red Raspberry Tea Leaves capsules. I hate drinking tea. I swear, I had the easiest labor in part to the raspberry tea leaves. I also worked at toning my uterus through exercises, but when it came time to push, my uterus was ready! He came out in two pushes. (first time labor).

Give it a try, also make sure to do major kegel exercises the entire time. This will help tremendously with labor.

I bought my evening primrose oil at walgreens and at the time it was buy 1 get 1 free :) I know I paid no more than $12 for it. I started taking the caps at 37 weeks and my son was born at 38 weeks.... im sure thats pure coincidence though because I started nesting around 36 weeks.
