Has anyone ever measured farther along in early pregnancy and what did it mean for you?
I know that I have my dates correct so I shouldn't be farther along. I have two little girls and they never measured farther along...most of the time I was about a week smaller. My husband keeps joking that it is twins, but my midwife didn't seem to think so. Any other reasons?
i dont know wish i could tell you
i know i was measuring two weeks ahead with brynn i had her at 39 weeks 5 days as well as my first
both girls were over 9 pounds so they said i might measure bigger
are they already measuring you..did u get an u/s yet...?

My midwife isn't measuring my belly, but measuring for the top of my uterus. She said that with this being my third that she would expect it to be a little high, but that mine is higher than normal...more like what she would see at 11 or 12 weeks. I am not getting an ultrasound until 20 weeks so I may not know until then.
Seems crazy early to be measuring. My doc didn't start until well after 20 weeks. Since this is my second I have been measuring 2 weeks ahead. Then I will go to being right on, then two weeks ahead.
First, it is NORMAL to measure within 2 cm of your week. Second, Different people measure differently which can effect how it looks. Third, it is normal to measure larger in second and third pregnancies. Your body just knows what to do and expands... yes, even your uterus.
If next time she measures you you are even further along, then it is possible you could be having multiples... they generally measure about 6 weeks ahead.
