i feel like i am being so lazy and using my prego as an excuse. i was in such a routine and worked out everyday then hubby had a 2 weeks vacation (hes navy) and we were trying for baby number two..well i tool a spin class for the two weeks and attempted to work out but i wanted to spend time with him
ever since nov 1st i have had no drive to workout..i need a kick in the butt ...ughhh i need to start exercising again
how are you staying active
I am having the same problem! I worked out everyday before I got pregnant and I swore I was going to keep it up this pregnancy (last pregnancy I gained 50 pounds and swore it wouldn't happen again). But I got so sick when I first found out I was pregnant that I just couldn't physically do it. Now I am starting to feel a litlle better and i am having a hard time getting back in the habit. I have gained a couple of pounds already too and I know it's from not working out. Ugh. I will be checking back to see what others say!
sorry, no advice. I am super lazy. :-P

I quit working out at around 8 weeks pregnant. I was way too tired and was so scared that working out too much would hurt my baby so I stopped. Well I never started back and I'm 40 weeks now. I do plan on going back after the post partum period because I used to be nice and toned and have lost some serious muscle tone so I will be back to fix it. Once I am given the go ahead from my midwife, I will be back in the gym. However, right now we are trying to naturally induce labor so I have been walking a couple of miles every day but aside from that I haven't done anything else.
I usually workout 4 days a week, but this past week I was so exhausted I just couldn't do it once. My last pregnancy, I was so worn out until 12 weeks, then I got my energy back, so I'm hoping for the same on this one. Until then, I'm going to stop putting pressure on myself, and say that 2x a week is a good goal.
