my hubby is inactive after his 4 years active and some time in the reserves... much respect to you being a mom while he's gone, we waited until he was out!!

I am in the Air Force. My hubby is civilian. I have been fortunate not to have had to deploy yet. But if I get orders then it will become very likely that I will get deployed.

I can't imagine how hard it has been for both of you during all his deployments but I congratulate you on staying together through that. I know a lot of divorced military members so it makes me happy to hear about military members that made it through tough tmes in their marriage! Good luck with your transitions!!!

I'm in the Army and my hubby is a civilian & I just found out that I'm pregnant this past weekend. We already have a crazy almost (Jan 3) 2 year old. I'm super excited.

i couldn't imagine being a mom and deployed...hopefully you wont have to

but i mean yet again i guess i dont give my hubby enough credit cause im here with the kids for 4 years and he was gone all the time...we actually lived in the two separate sates for 4 years til now cause his ship was the uss never dock...we both sacrificed but we did what was best ...i get alot of crap for it from others but we stayed here around family

I'm just about in the same boat as you. This is our 1st deployment, I'm 26 weeks pregnant with our 1st baby, DH will come home for R&R around the time baby is due, then he will come back for good around the time baby is 4 mo old.

My hubby is Air Force and is currently on a 1 year remote tour. Our little one just so happened to be a Mid-Tour baby :)

My hubby is USMC.  He's been in going on 6 years now.  He returned from a deployment to Iraq just less than 1 year ago.  We're crossing our fingers there will be no deployments or relocations anytime soon since he missed the 1st 8 months of our last baby!
