Its just not clean enough!!!!!

So appearently my nesting phase has kicked in way early and I have been trying to keep the house clean I am very happy with the rest of the house but the spare bathroom is ticking me off!!!! It just doesn't seem to get as clean as I want it.

What kind of cleaner can I use to make sure all the soap scum and all that crap is out of the shower? I have used bleach and some other things but its just not seeming to be clean enough. Do you know of any home made cleaners that might work, or what bathroom cleaner do you use to make sure the bathroom is spotless? My husband normally deep cleans (he is very anal about cleaning) but to me its just not getting clean. I know I am crazy but I need a little help here.

I don't know, but be careful around bleach and harsh chemicals... they aren't good to smell normally, but especially not when pregnant.

CLR works the best for me, just make sure to wear gloves, it tends to dry my hands out to the extreme!! Hope that helps!!

We have a small window in that bathroom as well as a vent I turn on the vent and open the window anytime I clean that bathroom. I also wear a mask (like a doctors mask) my hubby makes me. But thank you for the reminder, God knows my pregnancy brain is going to kick in again at any moment and I will go in there and forget what I normally do. lol.

Where can I get that? I didn't see it at wal-mart today... Does target normally carry it or is it something that walmart normally carries?

I know how you feel! Any other time I wouldn't care but I too have scrubbed tubs  till all hours of the night trying to make them look brand new. LOL!

Magic Erasers might work on the soap scum, but they don't disinfect. I use the eraser then go over it with bleach spray.

LOL, I remember going through that with DD.  My ex husband smoked and I would be waiting right behind him cleaning out the ashtray as soon as he smoked one.

Not having it with this one yet (although, my daughter's bathroom is needing a good scrubbing).  Hmm, are you close to Texas?  You can practice on her bathroom to find a good cleaner?!  LOL, JK.

I like scrubbing bubbles myself.  And comet always gets the stubborn stuff off.

I just use comet(non scratch) w/ a rough sided sponge.  Seems to do fine here.
