This is my second pregnancy. With my first, i was in the bathroom 24/7 puking the entire 9 months. I gained weight fast, had mood swings from hell, no cravings,(well, except that one time for anchovy pizza, i still shudder at that memory), when i showed, i showed sideways, and i could have sworn the baby was in my butt, not my belly, carried high, and all i wanted to do the 9 months was SLEEP etc... That baby was a girl.

This time, my BFF and i were talking, i'm about 14? weeks pregnant(not getting up to check the calendar). This time, i have no nausea, extreme cravings for chocolate cake(my uncle says it's definitely a baby from my side of the family on Dad's side), i'm showing low and forwards, no mood swings, hardly any weight gain, severe insomnia. BFF is convinced that this one must be a boy. I KNOW this one is a boy. I knew my DD was a girl from the begining, and when i saw my positive HPT, i knew this one was a boy. I don't find out the gender from a US until January, but the dollar store near my BFFs pedicure place is going out of business with 25-75% off everything, so she's already planning a day she can go down there and buy baby shower stuff. She only wants to give me a shower if i'm having a boy. I don't care either way if i get a shower, but my BFF loves stuff like that. I've learned to just roll my eyes and let her do her thing.

I have such a strong feeling this is a boy. And the fact that this is NOTHING like my last pregnancy really kinda settles the fact.

Anyone else have strong feelings they're having a certain gender even if you haven't had the 20 week US yet?

With my first, I KNEW I was having a boy. With this one, I had a feeling, but not a strong one, that it was a boy. I was right! Mommy instinct beats everything!

my coworker had a really bad pregnancy with her first (a girl) everything was completely different than her second...and she still ended up with another girl. even though everything was COMPLETELY different. she was very shocked...and cried cause she thought it was a boy. now she has her daughters and says she wouldnt trade them for anything!

good luck!!! keep us posted! hope you get your boy!

Hehehe, i was talking to my mom and she asked if i ended up having a girl would i try to trade her in for a boy? LMAO. I don't really care what we have, i just seem to have strange mommy instinct on the baby gender. I was right with the first, i think i'm right with this one. I'll let you all know if i'm right or wrong in January. I'm still buying neutral gender clothes until its confirmed.

I had a really easy pregnancy with my son.  I had no morning sickness, he was not really active, barely any weight gain and nobody could tell I was pregnant even at the end etc.  This time I had a feeling from day 1 that it was a girl.  I had horrible all day sickness until about 14 weeks, started showing early and am now bigger than I was with my son at 40 weeks, I am extremely tired all the time, more swelling, more heartburn, it is totally different.  I am having a girl this time, pretty obvious from the ultrasounds.  So I do believe there is some truth to that.  Oh and this baby is way more active than my son ever was.

With my 1st i had a feeling it would be a boy but everyone kept saying its a girl (and if old wives tales were true then yep he should be a she) but nope hes now a 4yr old healthy BOY... With my 2nd I knew it was a girl I had horrible morning sickness and my son kept saying his sister so the day of the ultrasound i took my mom with me and i swore i didnt want to know but after leaving we went to babiesrus and i asked my mom(since she knew) what it was(lol suspense was more than i could handle) and at that point my son was looking at a girls outfit and said look mommy pretty and my mom then said well least he had the right color and she is now a almost 2yr old lil girl!!! AND this time around I swore i was having a boy, but the ultrasound said girl lol i think the tech just wanted to annoy me because even tho the u/s said girl i still have a my gut saying boy but We will see tho come march lol

There have been studies done that prove that pregnant women can correctly guess what the gender of their unborn children are over 70% of the time.

I knew what both of mine were, even before an ultrasound could tell me. I have been buying girl clothes since I was 7 weeks pregnant this time around!
