Ok, i swear i didnt get this name from the earlier post! lol
Im torn over the name/middle name thing. I want the name Lorelei. but since it is a long name.....we would call her Rory. Yes....i am exaclty copying GG. I loved the show. But when i tell ppl what we're calling her for short...EVERYONE says..."Why dont u just name her Rory then?" So herein lies the prob. Since noone except GG fans know that Rory is short for Lorelei, should i just name her Lorelei Rory B. ? My original middle name picked out is Rose.
Or would that be weird/dumb? like naming a boy William Bill.....? Gah

Honestly I think a nickname in the family shouldnt be their names LOL I dont know if u understood that but I would do the Lorelei Rose and call her Rory thats like a special family name 4 her .. Thats what i would do all my kids have their nick names @ home LOL

Tough decision. As someone who was named one thing and called another it really has complicated my life. In fact, I won't do it to my kids. I have my legal name that has to go on all the paperwork and stuff and then I have the name I go by - it's irritating. Just something to think about. Good luck!
I thought GG spelled the name Lorelai.. I like Lorelai Rose.. There's a movie (Gentlement Prefer Blondes) that has Lorelei spelled that way tho.
I want one more!!!
