OT_ I have a stupid question.

My husband has a bad toothache and went into the hospital at 5am this morning.  He is fine now, but he wants to call out.  Partly because he has an excuse, and partly because my poor daughter who had a turkey day at school the other day had no one from her family go and now has a second and we want to make it.

He wants me to call because he "can't talk due to mouth numbing meds", but I am sooooo bad at fibbing, cause he really can talk. How would you call your Hubby out?

I would not lie. I would call them and tell them that he was at the hospital really ealry this morning and they put him on pain meds and he can't drive. Make sure to tell them that he has an excuse and all that and leave it at that. Usually they just say to get better and he can't get into trouble with an excuse unless he does so often,

I would do the same.  Let them know he had a horrible toothache and was in pain, now on meds that he shouldn't be able to come in today because of the meds.  he couldn't call because of the numbing in his mouth that they wouldn't understand him.

Thanks!!!  I didn't even think about the driving thing!  I feel so much better about it now :)
