I need some advice or encouragement.... or something....
I've ALWAYS wanted an all natural childbirth.... ALWAYS! I'm a strong woman and I KNOW I could do it and it would make me SOOO happy!
I just know I'll never have it.
I've now had 4 c-sections all because my children were breech. I now know that I still could have delivered naturally, but I know it's too late. I'm pregnant with my 5th baby and I know I have to have another c-sec for risk of rupturing, but I don't know how to put my head around it. This will probably be my last child, and to think that I've never had real labor and experienced birth the way I always wanted is just killing me.....
I guess I don't know what I'm asking for, I just need some help to feel better about this!!! Thanks!!
Do some research on the risk of rupture...from what I've seen (I've had 2 c-sections so far and I long for a VBAC...we're TTC, so maybe soon?) the risks of a repeat c-section are higher than your risk of rupturing...idk...maybe you can still give it a shot? I guess it would also depend on how far apart your youngest and the new baby will be.

That's the thing, my oldest is only 4! She will have just turned 5 when this one is born!

Yeah after 4 c-sections that will most likely have to be your route. The thing is you are doing a real labor, you carried your baby full term and you delivered your baby..whether you pushed or not. And I know from experience it takes a strong woman to take care of a baby while healing from a c section. It is not easy and being a mom is what makes us strong to do it!! Just know that you are giving a baby a great place to live and that you are willing to go through such pain just to have your baby here!!
Don't ever think that they way you delivered your babies is anything less than real birth!! And never let anyone make you feel that way either, I know some moms like to think they are higher with things like that.
