Ive thought about having a online baby shower for each other here on cafemom?
Ive thought about having a baby shower online on cafemom, where you pair up with 1 person and they buy gifts for each other. Of course not going over a certain limit. I thought it would be fun to see what we get and what kind of taste other people have. What do you guys think? Good idea, bad idea? Anyone be interested in helping me with it?

We had one in a smaller due date group that was a lot of fun... I am not sure how it would go over in such a large group.
It usually works out for the most part but there are always a few people that don't follow threw. I have done them before and ended up with the other people not sending anything.

we actually did this in a group i was in on myspace. the first couple showers went great, and then they just kind of died off until no one was sending anything. it was fun while it lasted though!

Ya I think there would be alot of people we couldnt trust. Or thought that we could trust and end up falling through. I have been thinking about it and I think it would be alot of work. Maybe more than I would want to get myself into. I know that I personally dont have a lot of money but I was thinking of other people that would enjoy it.
I like the idea! And we could set the limits as low as $5, that way if your person doesn't follow through it doesn't suck That bad. Sounds like such a small amount, but I KNOW you can get at least 1 onesie or a cute outfit from goodwill with $5. There should definitely be a sign-up for it though.
Never know if it'll work if we don't try it :)
