early labor????

this maybe TMI but i have been wondering this . Could having sex or the big "O" every day make you go into early labor????

Haha...well I am 30 weeks pregnant and my husband and I still have sex every day and I always orgasm! This is my second pregnancy and I have never had early labor...so it obviously isn't causing early labor for me. =P

As long as you have a normal pregnancy sex is fine. While those things bring on labor, they won't until your body is ready.

Nope!!!!!!!!!!!! It is good for you though so keep enjoying. I think it really helped me with softening and ripening. I went into labor both times right after sex, but I was at my due date both times. It won't put you into labor unless your body is ready for labor~

You're perfectly fine!! Until you're baby is about to come you can do it all the time!!

I couldn't have sex the 10 weeks I was on bedrest with my boys because I went into premature labor at 26 weeks and that would have put me in labor if we had sex. It was a long 10 weeks plus the 6 weeks after birth!!!

A lot of people say that sex can bring on labor if your cervix is already "ripe". Well, I have been dialated to 5 and 80% effaced for a week. We have been having sex everyday and I still have not gone into labor.

absolutely not. If you are clear for sex by your health care provider, it will not put you in preterm labor, and actually very good for you healthwise and emotionally.
