Ok, so my hubby was laid off on Thursday. His company went under with NO warning. We were in the process of buying a house, but can't get our loan if he has no job.. and to qualify in time he has to find one in the same degree field, which probably won't happen during the holiday season when hiring always slows down.
To make matter even more wonderful, I am only employed part time as a substitute teacher and bring in 1000 a month. I have been applying for jobs, but since I am due early mid January, you can bet I am not getting any offers.
We are staying with my parents right now, but their house will be sold in Dec and we will be out of a place to stay with no real way to pay or qualify for an apartment. I am on medicaid for my pregnancy, but can't qualify for any other goverment aid because we are staying with my parents and don't have any normal bills. We are paying for phones, car insurance, storage for our things and help with the groceries, but they won't count any of that.
I am so worried and down. I could really use some words of encouragement. Out of curiosity, does anybody know the effect of stress on babies this late in the game?
I trust in God completely, but it is so hard to trust wholeheartedly in tough times, you know? Anybody in or have been in a similar situation?
idk wut to tell u about anything but the stress question..stress can cause preterm labor..so watch carefully and try to not stress so much, i know easier said..but u dont want to be set into preterm labor because of stress..
HI! im a 20 yr old disposable diapering, CIO attempting, vaxing (but no flu shot), circ'ing, BFing AND FFing, vaginal and c-section birthing, co-sleeping, SAHM to two BOYS. i have been fairly happily married since i was 17 to my high school sweetheart who i met when i was 15. yes i am a "teen mom" but i also graduated high school early. so dont tell me im too young because i will tell you your too old!
SORRY FOR ANY TYPOS, IM NAK ALOT!

Oh well dear your situation is really difficult and the only advice or words I can tell you is to pray and trust God, you know He send us test sometimes to prove our faith and He will never let you down completely, specially with that angel coming, stress is the worst for babies doesnt matter in what stage you are, I had stress and depression early in the pregnancy and my baby wasn't developing properly, she was gaining weight slowly, and at the end it may cause preterm labor and specially if you are less than 35 weeks may have complications with the baby's lungs, think positive and trust God whatever is your religion, trust that supreme person, try to listen to soft, classical music to relax and think about all the joy that your baby will bring, you know try to work on a solution but without stressing. my best luck for you momma. I'll be praying for you and your family.
