Appetite Change??

For the last few weeks (maybe more) I have been eating quite a bit more than usual. I would have breakfast, later, a midmorning "2nd breakfast", lunch, then a snack or two before dinner, followed by a few more snacks before bedtime. I've been keeping it healthy as much as possible with my meals, and snacks have been fruits and veggies. So I was comfortable with how often I was eating. I would jokingly tell my SO that I was on a newborn schedule (eating every 2 hrs.)

Just in the last few days, I've noticed my appetite go down quite a bit. I'm able to wait longer before I eat in the morning, eliminating the midmorning "2nd breakfast". Then of course, I will eat lunch and dinner, without SO much snacking in between and after.

The only change I am aware of is that I've reached the 2nd trimester. I am not necessarily worried, but just wondering if it's common for there to be an appetite change around this time?

Thanks ladies.

I just asked something similar like this on the asnwer tab...except I'm having no apetite at all. And if I try to eat...I can only do a few bites. And if I force it, I end up chucking it back up.

Yes it's normal. I'm a first time mom and before I even found out I was pregnant, I was craving Lucky Charms and bologna and cheese sandwiches (which must be like the universal pregnant woman snack lol). My sister convinced me to not eat meat and at the time I didn't. I went to Burger King and bought a veggie burger and fries....another thing I was craving that I usually won't have much of an appetite for. Later on, I wanted caramel topping on butter pecan ice cream. After I got it, I didn't want it anymore lol just that quick. I didn't really eat ice cream all throughout the pregnancy. I did enjoy sweet things, but not the point where I had wayyyy too much.

I actually lost weight throughout the pregnancy. I was 282 lbs. at the start of my pregnancy and here it is, a month after having my daughter; I'm 253 lbs. I had morning sickness and didn't have backaches until the last 2-3 months of my pregnancy. That shocked me because I'm overweight and was expecting horrible backaches, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.

Well for the first few months till about a week ago I have had little to no appetite and now I LOVE  to eat! Makes me a bit nervous cause I can now eat a meal fit for 2 people sometimes more so I have been drinking a full glass of water prior to eating to help fill me up (I gained 60 pounds with my son and I refuse to gain anything close to that again!).

Mornings are still a bit rough, I have an uneasy tummy after I eat breakfast, no matter what it is I eat, but by noon Im 10 am Im ready to eat and usually starving by that point!!

My first trimester was weird, because my doctor told me at the end that I hadn't gained quite as much as he thought I should have, but since I wasn't really sick just not really all that hungry he assumed my weight gain was just slow, they actually recommended I try Carnation Instant Breakfast, because one of the the things i did like a lot was Chocolate Milk, and those at least have vitamins in them.. I gained something like 6 pounds in m first trimester..

I'm well into my 2nd and my appetite is totally different.. I LOVE FOOD.. Things that tasted ok prior taste INCREDIBLE now... I eat all day, party because I am hypoglycemic and I have to keep up my sugar but partly because I have the appetite of a truck driver lately.. I am trying to be healthy with my various choices, but I am also trying to enjoy myself since i have never been able to eat like this before...

Enjoy it while it lasts.. I hear you lose the appetite late in the third..
