Ok this is really wierd but has any one experienced it. I am only 8 weeks pregnant and while going to the restroom my legs went numb I had a shooting sensation go down the back of both my legs and my feet turned purple. I could not move my legs to get up for a couple mins till I called my Hubby to help. At first I was thinking Sciatica but I thought that was only in your left leg I had it with my daughter. And I thought that was when your further along. ANY ideas
I'm not sure, here is a bump for you.

If you can't WALK that sounds like a big deal to ME lol! ANd the turning blue would have to do with blood flow, I DEF would call. Better to be on the safe side than have a horrible regret later on. Good luck!

Hopefully you are doing better today? Give us an update! :) Everything in your pelvis area shifts during this stage of your pregnancy, and it sounds like some nerves and/or blood vessels may be getting pinched. It is not something to let go, so I hope you addressed it last night with a doctor. These symptoms could very possibly clear up on their own, but if not it could cause permanent damage. Good luck, I hope you are OK today!!
If your feet turned blue it may be you somehow had blood flow severely restricted to your legs suddenly and may or may not be related to pregnancy. Call your doctor about your concern to see if they need to see you in or if it's no big deal they will tell you what to do. Did your ankles feel funny too? Maybe you were dehydrated so your body is beginning to swell (this happens when you dont hydrate yourself enough so your body goes elsewhere to find water so in this case..from your tissues).
Quoting Lahtaspirit:Thank you. My legs are still numb but better just lying in bed I don't know if I should call my midwife on her cell I feel wierd doing that since its not an emergency.
Yeah it def sounds like a swelling issue that pushes against your nerves so you feel numb..drink lots of water and its best to stay away from caffeine (which dehydrates you faster) until this gets resolved. Also, try propping your legs up on pillows while you are in bed..gravity helps get that blood out from where it seems to pool but that's just a quick and temporary fix..still drink water
I hope everything turns out well!
Quoting Lahtaspirit:
