just take deep breaths and relax while waiting for the call back.  if it isnt accompanied by hard cramping, it generally is okay.

I have had spotting with all three of my pregnancies at some point and will be the first to tell you that first trimester spotting is extremely normal.  I also got a little cramping, and the blood was bright red all three times, and then turned to more of the brown discharge, and everything ended up fine.  As long as you don't pass tissues, don't soak a pad in an hour, and you aren't in pain, you sound find to me.  Keep up on your water intake and rest... try to calm down.  Right now stress is the worst thing for you and for baby.  Take a nap if you can, all the best

Same thing here. Just relax and try not to stress while you wait for your doc/midwife to call you back.

My midwife finally called back and didnt' really say much either way. She just said lay in bed take it easy eat and drink well. "It could be the pregnancy letting go or it could be completely normal Hard to say" that doesn't help too much that much i knew. maybe i should go back to a dr. at least they would want to see me IDK

I had it happen like 5 times during my pregnancy and everything turned out to be fine. They did send me for an ultrasound each time to make sure the baby was okay...that helped to ease my mind.

I . asked my midwife if I could go for an ultrasound just to know for sure what was going on and ease my mind. She said she would try to get me in today. She found a place and I had the ultrasound The baby is fine and so is the pregnancy i am right on schedule. What was causing the cramping and spotting is I have a cyst on my right ovary. I feel so much better knowing its not a threatened miscarriage and i can live with a cyst thanks for all the support
