i know for some women, this is their first pregnancy and it wouldnt apply....so sorry , but asking for the women who have had at least one kid before.

in the hospital what is the most memorable thing that happened....funny, sad, silly, good, bad, horrible, etc....i know these stories can get pretty silly and i LOVE hearing other peoples stories :)

for me i had a csection, so nothing embarrassing really during delivery...just this ONE nurse we had...kept bothering me to fill out the paper work for my dd that had to be turned in...and i was sore, tired, etc...and df decided to snap at her 'we will do it when we get to it!!' and shes like...wow you have a little snippy boyfriend there.

everyone in the room just laughed as she walked out! lol

Ha!! So right after I had my DD they wanted me to try and pee....Well, the nurse that was helping me to the bathroom was one of my husbands ex-girlfriends!! Ya!!! How awkward is that!! Good thing I liked her! Cause I was butt naked!! I will NEVER forget that!! Jason and I had a talk about that when we got home and laughed! We live in such a small town!

Hum, well when I got ready to push the tv was on and I was not quite a hour into pushing and in between the nurses couldnt keep their eyes off the tv cuz Grays Anatomy was on lol. One part that made me mad was the lady who was there for the baby was all up tight because she had other things she wanted to do and was getting nasty with my doctor and my doctor had to set her straight lol. At the time it was so inappropriate. I thought about writing the hospital but i couldn't remember her name shes lucky.

I threw up during labor :(

My daughter isnt biologically my husbands, when I was 7 months along he begged and begged me to be his girlfriend, and I kept saying No. I didnt feel right putting the responsibility on him. (We had dated for YEARS in high school before all this) Anyways we were together constantly, and  he was there when I had my daughter.

I went to take a bath after she was born and when I came back into the room there he was sleeping on the side of her little basket with his hand on her chest. <3 aww. This brings tears to my eyes. And  I KNEW from that moment on that he really loved her and wanted to be her dad. Here we are almost 4 years later, married expecting another little girl. He has been the best thing to ever happen to us, and the best dad my daughter could ever have.

I know thats a little more than what you were asking, but I guess a little background on the situation was necessary to get the point across. :)

That is so sweet! =)

I am also married to an amazing man..i love hearing stories like this! It proves that there ARE good men out there still. My father adopted my sister and he has always been the only father in her life. He loves her as his own and all the time people say "wow your daughter is so beautiful, she looks just like you" he just says "thanks!". =)

The thing I remember most is the first moment we saw our daughter. The moment i saw her face I looked at my husband and we were both crying tears of joy! It was the most incredible feeling..seeing the baby you have been growing inside of you. I cannot WAIT to see my son for the first time..it is what i'm looking forward to most, besides my VBAC! =)

One thing i will definitely never forget is during the c-section. They gave me a spinal which completely whacked me out and all i could do was laugh at the nurses and my doc because they didnt have the regular flat masks on they had on ones that stick out which made them look like ducks!! The other thing i wont forget (which was not pleasant!!) was the last 15 minutes of the section my spinal wore off.I ended up getting pumped full of morphine and i felt like i was in a drunken haze for 3 days.oh yeah and i threw up all over the shower curtain in the bathroom the morning after the c-section i was completely embarrassed since my nurse was standing right behind me when it happened.

People say my DD looks like my husband also. He just smiles and says thank you. Its not something we really openly share with people. To him she is his, end of story. Im pretty sure his own grandmother doesnt know :) Oh well. :)

And thats great about your father also!
