My hubby decided that he wanted to do something for me. I have this set of lamps that I have had forever and they have been sitting in the garage for almost 2 years and he redid them for me. I am so happy.

This is the original one. It looks horrible and the paint is a terrible color.

This is the redone one. It looks great and I love the color. It is the pain that I picked out for my daughter's bathroom lol.

aww that is so sweet!! I love gestures like that, to me they mean so much more than any silly little trinket he bought you could, because it shows he was thinking of you so much that he was willing to put time and effort in to make you smile :D.

I know and it was great cause it took so long. He had to take it apart and strip the paint out and let it dry then clean it and put the paint in it and instead of trying to get in there with a paint brush he just swirled it around till it coated the inside then had to let the extra drain out then let it dry and that took forever. Then he put it back together and it took about 2 days and it still was not that dry but there was no extra paint in it so it should be ok and dry eventually I hope lol. But I love it. I think he did a great job. I have been showing it to everyone lol.
