I came in at 6:30 a.m., got my IV and everthing set up. Doctor came in and decided his head had turned and if he broke my water his cord could potentially prolapse. It was decided to do a small amount of pitocin to get me started. We started that at about 9 a.m. I was already 4 cm when they started it. He came in at 1:15 to break my water and my contractions immediatly were intense. I asked for the epidural...however, by the time they got to my room, I went from 6 cm to 10 cm within 20 minutes. No pain meds for me, but..I'm glad I did it without because I feel better about it. However, after Landyn came out, I continued to hemmorage. They finally got it stopped about 45 minutes after birth. While being hauled to the shower, I collapsed and they've continued to check my blood every 8 hours. So far, it's been over the point of transfusion so I'm glad about that! They are hoping to let us go home tomorrow for Thanksgiving! Today, I am feeling better and Landyn is perfect.
