Hi everyone! I'm going for my gender ultrasound in 9 days ( not like i'm counting or anything lol) and I want to make sure that the baby is moving around so we get a clear shot of what the gender is. What did you drink to get baby moving before your ultrasound?
p.s. Happy Thanksgiving! :)

i had a big glass of apple juice before all 3 of mine. worked like a charm ;-)

I am a (almost) 20 year old, Mommy to 3 beautiful babies, Javier Brandon (7-8-06), Karina Adriana (8-8-08), and Christian Juan (10-20-09). I am a Vaxing, Spanking when necessary, Breast Feeding, Previous formula feeding, disposable diaper using, c-sectioned 3X, as long as my kids are happy, I'm happy kinda mama :)
Not recommended but I usually drink a pop before going.

Mine says eat a good meal 30 minutes to 1 hour before coming in and drink juice! Has always worked for me.

I drank orange juice and boy did that get her movin lol! He even had a hard time looking at her 4 heart chambers but he finally got to see it. We were able to determine the sex right away!! I would recommend it. I drank it like 10-30 minutes before my appointment, finishing it up like 5 minutes before I went in.
Yeah I would just eat a healthy meal 30 minutes before your appt. If you drink soda or anything sugary..he/she may be moving too much for the tech to be able to see for you what you are having. That happened to a friend of mine who had to wait for her next US since the one she came in for to find out the baby's sex was difficult..baby couldn't sit still long enough to get a clear picture. After a meal though, they do start moving around but not constantly so I recommend this route
