Ive heard from sooo many people that your second baby usually comes sooner then your first one did and that they will be a bigger baby. Is this true for you girls who have already had 2 or more deliveries??

Nobody delivered my babies, i gave birth to them. Both came on their own in the 39th week!

My sister had her first in the 39th week and her second was 42 weeks and 5 days!

Throughout the world, there exists a group of women who feel mightily drawn to giving care to women in childbirth. At the same time maternal and independent, responsive to a mother's needs, yet accepting full responsibility as her attendant; such women are natural midwives. Without the presence and acceptance of the midwife, obstetrics becomes aggressive, technical, and inhuman.

I don't believe it's true across the board, but my son was born at 39 weeks exactly and he was baby number two.  My dd was born one day before the due date they gave me, but my second was smaller by half a pound.

i've had two homebirths....  my first was born at 39 weeks (with a 32 hour labor) and my second was born at 41 (with a 2 hour labor).  i'm pregnant with my 3rd now, and we'll see when & how this one decides to make his appearance.  i'm due on christmas eve and am going to do everything in my power to have a water-birth.

Not for me... my boys were born just before 29 weeks, and this baby girl is still baking at over 38 weeks.
