I got sent home from the hospital!!!! My 7th baby and they sent me home.Can you believe it?!
I am waiting for my labor to get painful! My water broke at 1:30 this morning but they said it didn't. I am positive it did. I have had contractions all night. 3 minutes apart at the hospital, 2 minutes apart on the drive home and 1 minute apart at home till I fell asleep from exhaustion. They petered out but I am still getting them about every 5 minutes or so. Just waiting for them to hurt, so I can go back to the hospital. I am dialated 4-5 cm and 60 % effaced. I am so shocked they didn't keep me!
I will post a birth story with pictures later. I talked to my midwife and she convinced me to come back to the hospital and she checked me. Sure enough, there was ferning in some mucus under the microscope. My water had been broke for 14 hours by then. They started pitocin. It didn't take anything to get my contractions back. 2 1/2 hours later Cashton was born with ONE push! Trust yourselves mama's. We do know what we are talking about!!

wow thats wierd they didnt keep u but it doesnt suprise..my bff was the same way wen she had her youngest...they kept sendin her home even tho she was 5cm dialated...& eventually she ended up damn near delievering in the ER triage bed lol..they felt awfully stupid for sendin her home!

I can believe they sent you home, I think L & D nurses are sadistic sometimes!!! I am 90 - 100% effaced and 4 cm, they won't keep me either!! Sounds to me like you will go first and I am very happy for you but jealous too!! My son is having his cable installed on Monday and is never coming out!! Seriously though, good luck!
wow if I was has far along as you and they sent me home I would be freaking out! Im so worried with this one because its baby #2 and I know the labor can be shorter than the first....
