today my boyfriend got curious about what the doctor felt when she checked if i was dilated (which i was 1-2cm and 70% effaced) so he went in and tried to check but since my cervix is so far in he couldnt find it lol. but anyway when he finally gave up and pulled his finger out and when he did he also pulled out something that i think might be my mucus plug or atleast part of it. but im not sure if dats wat it really was...i mean it was like a long boogie looking thing....like if u sneeze while ur sick and boogies come out on the tissue...it was kinda thinker too....it had a smell to it...kinda like baby vomit....idk wat do u girls think it is?

What color was it?Could just be discharge. He wouldn't have pulled out your mucous plug unless he stuck his finger in your cervix, which would be very painful. It sounds like you might have a yeast infection. I would go to the doctor and check to see if you have a yeast infection, it might not have worked it way out to cause external symptoms yet.

i just got checked...had a pap/culture last week and they told me i dont have anything when i went this week. i kno wat a yeast infection looks and feels like lol and this isnt one...ever since he pulled it out ive been having more come out little by little, and i mean its possible that it was going to come out on its own or it was on its way out already and he just happened to help it out of ma vag.
LOL wow... I couldn't get my SO to do that for the life of me... but he does do my perineal massages and last week I started losing my mucus plug and had the doctor confirm that.
My SO pulled out a big long piece of it on hs finger after the perineal massage and was like "what is this?!!!" LOL
Mine was like a long string of snot that is cloudy white colored and has chunky pieces in it.
The doctor checked me last week after we told him that too and he pulled some more out and showed it to us and told us that is was my mucus plug, probably keep losing more of it... it happens.
All women are different, but that's just what mine looked like. Even now I still get a little bit here and there that comes out and I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow (Saturday.)
