No energy... I can't even stand up...

I am just 16 weeks pregnant, and I have a 18 month old DD. I am just a stay at home mother and I am to the point where I can't even stand up to take a shower. I can't go to Wal Mart with my husband, because I run out of energy.

It's almost like I have a hot flash. But my heart starts ponding, my chest gets real tight and I can't breathe. I seriously wash my hair in the tub now, since I can't stand up, even. My mom says that it's not really normal. And I tried to call my doctor yesterday, but the office was closed because of the holiday weekend.

I am not really that worried about it, but has anyone experienced anything like this?? Do you think I should be worried at all?I have also had alot of strong BH contractions and that is when it seems to hit me, too. I have alot of pressure on my tailbone, when I have the contractions... And I feel out of breath. It seems to have gotten worse these past couple of weeks, progressively.

Not sure if the contractions and pressure have anything to do with it, but I figured I would add that just in case.

Should I even bring it up at my next drs appoinment?? Or should I call on Monday??

pregnant bellyI'm Amanda, wifey to Barry and mommy to Jenna and baby number two.

i don't know about normal.. I'm having my first baby and I"m only in my first trimester... but does your doctor have an answering service or on call doctor you could get in touch with?  They usually have someone...

I hope you feel better soon.

i get the same thing. it feels like you get really over heated and winded and kind of dizzy. I talked to my doctor about it and she said it is the start of hypoglysemia. it can be easily controlled by instead of eating three big meals a day, eating 6 small snacks. its all about calorie intake and watching your diet. i know the stress you are feeling cuz i have a 3 yeard old DD and a one and half year old DS while being pregnant with another.
