should i do it??

okay so .... .ummmm my midwife and me were dicusing indiction ... and i was thinkin i should do it just becuz of my transportion  and medical issuses ... but im a little scared becuz my oringnal due date was jan 17 then they changed it to jan 4th ... she would like to induce me in what would be my 39th week (37th if you go by the first due date) any advice as to what i should do ... would it be safe to induce if i dont completely trust the day their givin me as my due date?

I dk  but  if your baby will be 37 weeks and  not 39 it  should still be healthy   my daughter was  born at 371/2  weeks and was absolutley perfect so i dont know what you should do

I say NO!  Follow your gut, mama knows best!
If it were me I would never go along with something that made me uncomfortable.

Hey :) its okay to be scared.. but if they do induce you and you deleiver earlier than your due date..( by the date you shown) everything should still be fine:) and the baby will still be healthy :) as long as your doing what your suppose to be doing to keep both you and baby healthy everything will go great!!! :) so dont worry yourself to death hun..:)

Not necessarily.  The average gestation is 37 weeks to 42 weeks.  The best way to ensure a healthy baby is to let baby decide when he/she wants to come.

Just in case your Midwife has not informed you, inductions carry a ton of risks.  Here is a great article:
