Never ever trust the weight estimate from an u/s.  They are inaccurate up to 5 pounds either way....very unreliable!

I had a sono at 35 weeks and 1 day because my uterus was is measuring at 7 weeks ahead.  My little mans weight then was 5lbs and 14oz. I was afraid that was to big and I am pretty sure that the words Holly Crap came out of my mouth... LOL... But the sono Lady said that he was right on track and everything looked great!! I was releaved when I heard that because one of my children were 9lbs 13oz when they were born and I really did not want to go through that again. So the Answer to your ? is that NO your little one is not to big!!! Congrats!!!!

guestimates on weights can't always be accurate. they tried to tell me my daughter weighed 5 pounds at 26 weeks. lol. if that were the case i'd be having a monster baby!
