Pain in pelvic/vaginal area?

The last week or so I've felt really uncomfortable pain when standing, in my pelvic area.. Sometimes vaginal area.. Especially when walking. It feels like a lot of pressure pushing down, with pains, sometimes sharp, sometimes just uncomfortable.

At first I thought maybe she had dropped but I'm only 29wks and it doesn't feel like it did when my last daughter dropped. Then I felt like I had a rock stuck in my pelvis, it was harder to walk. And she didn't drop until I was 36wks.

I don't see my OB until Monday, just wondering if anyone has had this happen or might know what it could be? Thanks.

This has happened to me the past 2-3 weeks and I'm 32 1/2 weeks along. I saw the doctor this past Tuesday and she said that what I'm feeling is normal and its just that at this point the baby is  gaining roughly 1/2 a pound weekly and the pains is from the increasing weight of the baby pressing on your ligaments. She said to take some tylenol if they get too painful and they have helped

I wonder if we are having the same pains. I am concerned as well. Don't recall this with my first pregnancy.

I keep getting really sharp pains in my lower abdomen. (just above the pubic bone but to the right side of it) I guess where my ovaries would be. It has gotten so bad if I start to get up from a sitting position I have to move very slowly and gradually get up, even once I am up I cannot stand straight up and have to hold on to the chair for a minute or two.

I almost called the doctor today because the pain has gotten so bad. Luckily my mother came over and took care of my son and the house work, but IDK what I am going to do come Monday.

I am so miserable I could just cry. My body seems to be betraying me in every manner possible and this pregnancy is so uncomfortable. I really wish it could be over already.

Occasional abdominal discomfort is a common pregnancy complaint, and while it may be harmless, it can also be a sign of a serious problem. (Severe or persistent abdominal pain should never be ignored.)

If you experience abdominal pain or cramping along with spotting, bleeding, fever, chills, vaginal discharge, faintness, discomfort while urinating, or nausea and vomiting, or if the pain doesn't subside after several minutes of rest, call your practitioner.

this really osunds like something i had experienced but i asked my midwife

about it cuz i really could not handle it anymore.. anyways when your baby sits on your

abdomen or closer to like you would say where your ovaries are my midwife said that it is prob

just him/her sitting on you sciatic nerve or however that is spelled. your baby is pushing down very hard because he is gettign ready to be turned around with his head down im only 28 weeks so but i know that  h has or will be turning soon and that gives the same kind of pressure,......  but ya you def dont want to avoid like if you are having any sort of bleeding or anything like that.....

I have this pain also and did not have it at all with my twins. I can't even turn over in bed without almost crying. After I have sat for a while it is also very painful to stand up but goes away after 5-6 steps. It feels like someone has an ice pick in my leg where it attaches to my groin area. It is awful! I keep hoping it will go away but I think it only gets worse for me. Good luck guys we are almost there!
