I'll tell you what my OB always told me. Drink some juice, ice water or something that'll wake baby up and get 'em moving. Lay on your left side for an hour and stay nice and relaxed. Try not to get up...I know its hard because you probably pee every 5 minutes. If nothing happens or you get minimum  results, I would go into L&D, tell them you have infrequent fetal movement and opt for a non-stress-test. They'll work on getting baby to move for you. Or be able to find out if something is wrong. Good Luck Sweetie :)

I was always told 10 movements every hour, once you get to be as far as  you are.

I know there are somethings you can check to see if it's normal. I think you eat and drink something, and wait an hour to see if there is movement, and if there is less than five times in an hour, then you should try just relaxing, since babies are lulled to sleep by your walking around. Then count again.

But I went through that with my first, and everything was fine. I am sure it is one of those days, especially if you have been active. But I would definetly try that. If not, call your doctors office if they always have an on call doctor, and speak with them. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

My OB says anything less than 10 fetal movements an hour is something to be concerned about.  I would drink cold cold water (or orange juice works well) and maybe something with some sugar in it, chocolate or a cookie or something, and lay down on your left side.  If you don't start feeling something within the hour, most definitely call your doc and see if they think you need to be seen.  Most hospitals will let you speak to an on-call OBGYN if yours isn't available.  Try not to stress to much, this happens to a lot of women at least once during the end of the pregnancy, and the baby is probably just sleeping...BUT it is better to be safe than sorry.

Good Luck mama.

lay on your left side and drink some OJ she should move after you do this...if not then call the doctor, she could just be sleepy today.
