hypoglycemia

did anyone have hypoglycemia appear in the first trimester? did it turn into gestational diabetes? How did you handle the hypoglycemia??

lol the only thing i know about hypoglocemia is that i had to give my puppies sugar water and a sugar based paste when they were little because they were sooooo little [under 1 pound] so they didnt go into shock lmao.... i have no clue about it in humans...sorry...

hypoglycemia is pretty much the opposite as what happen in GD. you just have to eat small meals more often to try and balance out your blood sugar so you dont get too hungry or weak. just keep some snacks with you and eat often. i dont think it normally ends up as diabetes, i havent heard of that. you will be ok, just eat regularly :]

I am hypoglycemic, have been forever. It has not turned into GD, in fact it is just the opposite. My body uses the sugar too fast and causes low blood sugar. Its easy to control, just dont let it get out of hand
