Hi all, I am new to the group and I need your help! 17 weeks with my first babe, and I have been sick for the last 4! (Sinus stuff/Cold & Cough/ Headaches) I was so looking forward to getting that superwomen energy that all the websites keep telling me about but I just can’t seem to kick the crud. It likely doesn’t help that I am working a physically intensive job, but I just can’t seem to get to where I feel rested, or well. Does anyone have any advice on bouncing back for illness at all? I am on antibiotics and taking my vitamins, and trying to eat right, but I still feel like I am 80!
On a separate note driving have become very painful for my lower back/left hip? Anyone else find driving a problem? Or does anyone have any advice on finding a comfortable driving position?

Welcome to the group and congrats on the pregnancy!! Everyone's M/S subsides at a different time. With my dd i never had morning sickness and with this pregnancy i only had it for a little bit and i'm fine now. Just get lots of rest and drink lots of water.. As far as the driving goes i would talk to your doctor about that because i've never had that problem.
I'm 24 weeks and I just got some energy back (and now I can't sleep at night! lol). I put pillows against the back of my seat and it eases some of the tension on my lower back (and slouching makes your back hurt worse). Also, google pregnancy stretches and try doing some squats. I squat all the way down (as far as I can) and hold onto or lean on the couch. The pain is gone while I'm in that position.
Congrats on the baby! I don't have much advice for getting the energy back, but I do get back pain and hip pain while in a vehicle. Ugh. Especially when i'm not driving it is really uncomfortable to be in a vehicle. I know that if you are in a vehicle on a longer trip you are supposed to get out and stretch every hour, but this happens on little trips that are like 30mins or so.
