Dont laugh but.... how do I bake a potato?

How do I bake a large baking potato? They never seem to be cooked all the way :(

I put mine in the microwave on the potato setting! LOL

I scrub them, stick a fork in 2-3 times and then bake at 400 for 45min-hour.  To test for doneness I squeeze them gently and if they give, they're done.

i
 cook  mine in the microwave for about 5 minutes and then put butter and salt around it, wrap in foil and put on the grill for 30-45 mins...you could cook it all the way int he microwave but usually when i have a potato it is already with something on the grill so i just do it that way.

I do too, for some reason I think they taste way better in the microwave LOL

Scrub it really well, then stab it with a fork. I wrap mine in a damp paper towel, then hit the "baked Potato" button on the microwave and normally it's done! if not, just put it through a second time.

1 hour in the oven at 400 degrees.
