I am pregnant with our 4th baby, and this baby is a girl. We have three boys. The thought of having a daughter scares the crud out of me. I have no idea what to do with a girl, I have this horrible fear that she's going to be so high maintenance and be super girly, that I won't even know what to do with her?!
My boys are so easy, they just wrestle, eat, wrestle some more, fart, eat, poop, eat, wrestle and then hopefully take a nap......
What are the dynamics in your family, and how do you raise a daughter? Ahhhhhhhh!
:) But looking at her ultrsound, she's pretty cute.
i'm right there with you! except i'm having a boy. I've helped to raise my niece since she was born so girls come more natural to me. i've never taken care of a newborn baby boy before and it scares me to death lol.

congrats on the girl! chances are the girl will be more tom boyish because of the other boys in the family. they will rub off on her. my friends have three boys and one girl...and sure she likes pink and such, but really when it comes down to it, she knows how to wrestle around and be with the boys.
I have a girl that is so easy that it isn't funny. They are a product of their environment in most ways so if you are not super high maint. or girly she will probably not be either. With three older brothers I would say she has a really good chance of being a tomboy. Don't worry about that stuff, just enjoy your baby girl, she will be perfect.
My daughter likes to wrestle and roughhouse just like any boy so she will probably just join in with the crowd when she gets older.
children turnout like you raise them. They will be girly or tough if that is how they are raised. You will do fine. I have one of each and they are both wonderful. She is not super girly, but does care about looks a little more as she has gotten older yet I sitll have to pat down her sundresses for bugs in the pockets before I wash them. My son is a boys boy, but still sweet and cuddly. That is how I raised them.
My best friend has two boys and then the one girl and she is the youngest. She is the girliest tomboy you would ever meet. She is sassy and all about her nail polish and all things girly, but she fears nothing. At times she is more daring than the boys. Besides, when they are all teenagers, you won't have to worry too much about boys because those big brothers will take care of it!
Oh just wait! Little girls are so fun! They have the cutest stuff! and she doesn't have to be high maitence. In fact i am betting that with 3 older brothers you'll get a tomboy. lol. You'll want her to wear a dress and she will freak out! lol. My daughter is 8 and my son is 3 and on the way I have another boy. My daughter is a wonderful breath of fresh air some days. She is girly and likes to have her nails painted and likes to wear dresses. BUT she will go out and play in the mud with a dress on! Just make sure you don't freak out when she gets dirty. If you have 3 boys then you know what dirt is and you aren't afraid of it. Little girls climb trees, play in the mud and work on cars with dad too. You just get to do their hair and stuff as well! But I know how you feel, i am terrified of this one too! We call my son the demon child (not to his face of course) because he is ALWAYS into something. If this one is the same way I am gonna have my hands full! I'll be stopping one from climbing the piano and I'll turn around and the other will be trying to put the cat in the blender!!! lol.
LOL! my daughter does all the stuff that the boys do, she's actully the best at burping, and plays kick ball in a dress and shoes, but at the same time very unspoiled girlie loves her makeup and chatting. I am also the only girl out of 3 boys, I can hang with the boys and still keep myself girlie. It how you raise her and Im sure she will be fine mama, dont sweat it.
all options are open for my daughter she loves boy things too she is not very girly at all... she plays with tools has thomas the train curtins and car house shoes lol...just get her her what ever she is in too iam sure with all the boys she will be a tom boy/girly.. congrats on the girl
