I just wanted to Update everyone on how well Trey is doing ...If you don't know my son was born very large and had to be pulled out of me . and has paralysis of the diaphragm ( Occasionally, the nerve going to the diaphragm (the muscular sheath that separates the organs of the chest from those of the abdomen) is damaged, resulting in paralysis of the diaphragm on the same side. In this case, the newborn may have difficulty breathing. Injury of the nerves to the newborns arm and diaphragm usually resolves completely within a few weeks.)
Anyways He is Breathing on his own which is amazing he still has the High Flow but he is doing it he is breathing on his own my heart could jump out of my chest with how great it feel at this moment . I hold him all day long they said he is doing so well now that I get to hold him and snuggle with him all the time I touch him all the time and message his lil body he loves it he lays there in total peace his daddy is a lil heart broken because when he holds him he gets cranky and fusses and his states aren't as good I don't know why its like that but let me tell you it makes me feel special I am so in love with Trey I am so excited to have him home . I wish they would tell me when he can come home . I am hoping it is after this snow storm I have no intention on having my lil guy in a car in this weather I am sure they are smarter then that lol well anyways Thank you to everyone who sent me emails and left comments on my post it sure helps make the time better while in the NICU and I have to say the Ronald McDonald house is amazing what a beautiful place and just wonderful I would be lost if it wasn't for the home away from home they gave my family ...here is a few more pics

You know, a lot of babies are "partial" to moms, don't feel too badly there, daddy. Mother Nature built in a "preference for mom for a reason... no offense! ;-)
Taking more deep breaths for you~ HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
;-D
Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers ~ strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.
