Don't you hate it when ... (examples of pregnancy brain)

So I went out to the washer to start a load of laundry and found that I had a load already in there. (It had been there for at least 2 days.) Ugh! Can't stand the smell of sour clothes. It seems like the closer I get to the end my pregnancy, my brain just flakes out on me. Anyone have this problem? What have you been forgetting about?

I tell my husband that they're Pregnancy Brain Farts.  LOL   The other day I totally blanked on the numbers in my address, couldn't remember how to spell my BEST FRIENDS mom's name, was in the shower (this day I wasn't feeling good and a little out of it) and I put face wash in my hair.

I've always had a great memory and could multi-task better then most, but I feel like I'm losing my brain.  The dr. laughed and told me it was normal and that your brain shrinks 8% during pregnancy....

On a funny note, my 16 yr. old brother told me, "well your not gonna have anything left".  Gotta love siblings

The other day I was looking for a certain document out of a whole Pleading's board and halfway through I forgot what I was looking for!! I actually had to call the person I was doing this for and ask her what I was supposed to be looking for! LOL

I have done the same thing. Even worse, I don't work on Sunday or Mondays and I showed up to work on a Monday dressed and ready just to have someone ask me what I was doing there and they had to let me know it was Monday and I should go home! Yikes!

My husband says I lose half my brain with each pregnancy. That means I am down to 1/16 of my brain left after this pregnancy :)

The other day I was in the shower, and stood there for ten minutes with the water running over me, trying to remember if I'd already washed my hair.

And, believe it or not, I could not for the life of me get my shoes on the right feet this morning.  I had to take them off and stare very hard for a second to realize what was wrong.

I'll be amazed if I make it through this pregnancy alive, I tell you what!

HAHAHAHHAH I just posted this on FB this morning.. my status was something about the baby sucking my brain cells and maybe I'll get it back when she escapes!  It's sooo annoying.  I've actually put things from the dishwasher in the fridge (like glasses and dishes), also Sunday I hit the wall in my garage with my car.. what else?  I just do DUMB stuff.  sigh.

OMGosh! I did something like that the other day. I took my shower and wash/conditioned my hair, brushed my teeth and then got out. I completely forgot that I didn't wash my body, had to jump back in the shower. DH was laughing so hard at me.

I was so embarrassed the other day. I went to get my hair cut and when it came time to fill in the tip my brain just shut down. I could not do basic math :( I had to ask my hairdresser to calculate her own tip. Luckily I tipped well, but it was still awkward.
