I have them now and I can't stop crying (I feel so.. disgusting?? I don't know if thats the right word or not) And they are hurting so bad.
:(
I feel so stupid.. I really can't stop crying because I am so embarrassed. I feel like I don't ever want to be intamate with my husband again because it's so close to that area.
tuxs pads...or even just witch hazel...helps. but the tuxs pas work wonders!
ok, you might be more embarrassed to go to the doctor, but I went to my doctor for them and he gave me a RX for a suppository, I know, gross... but oh my gosh... it worked with in minutes!!! Total life saver! You can use one and it just completely goes away. I forget what they are called. I could tell you when I get home and look.
i can totally relate!!! i had 2 during the whole pregnancy, the pain does get better but they won't go away. you can use witch hazel and prep. H cream and their wipes, and tucks pads. if you get the cream get the one that has the pain reliever in it, it really helps alot!
and do not be surprised if they get worse and/or you get more after you give birth it is horrible! you can have them surgically removed after the baby is born if you want too. my Dr actually took me out of work because mine were so bad that i couldn't walk and after i had my baby they gave me a donut pillow to sit on because i was in so much pain, and 800mg of motrin (ask them for it if they don't offer it!!!) the motrin is the only thing that helped take away the pain, i took it for 2 weeks afterwards.
not trying to scare you, i just want you to be prepared because they hurt like really really bad!!!! and theres not a lot you can do about them. good luck, if you have any questions or whatnot just send me a message!
Hey Amy,
Don't worry they're not forever, and 9 out of 10 you husband might have them now too. And it's not disgusting it's normal. You husband won't care and more or less won't even see them, guys aren't good when it comes to detail infact if your in the mood he'll be more into you then them.
Do a test run and I bet I'm right. Oh and did I tell you I have a 3 year old and a 11 month old, which I just got some really bad skin cond.
Preparation H will make them go away. Many women get them in pregnancy. No reason to feel embarrassed or disgusting ;-)
