Cervix check?

Is there a way to check your cervix to see if your dialating?

 you could have your SO do it for you. I know I can't reach my cervix if it depended on my life!! Sorry

every body says n that only the doc can do it but doesnt it seem like dh would be able to tell during sex or something??? maybe tmi but it seems like he would know if the cervix was opening..lol

I would be scared to do it... lol... when docs check my cervix it caused bleeding because it aggravated it. I would just leave it up to the doc. When they checking me it seemed like they had to reach REAL far up in there lol so I don't know if you could reach it. Frankly even the mere suggestion would make my DH FREAK out, not sure if your dh would want to try it!

That's best. Besides it has no affiliation as to when your gonna go into labor. Woman walk around 4 cm for weeks and end up being induced. Better to be safe than sorry.
