Anderson Robert born March 11th @ 3:09am (hst) 6 lbs 13.9 oz and 21.5 in long.
I went into labor on Wed afternoon about 2pm. When I got to L&D they told me that I was @ 4.5 cm dilated and very thin. They decided that they were going to keep me. I was caught off guard thinking that they were going to send me home again, lol.
By 1:30 am I was still dilated at 5 cm. My Dr was worried about baby because at the tail end of the contraction baby's heart rate dropped. They put me on oxygen. 2 am came along and I had felt tons of pressure. Sure enough I had dilated to 7.5 cm. Around 2:15 am my nurse had to check on her other patient and told me that she would be back in 15 min. She also told me that if I felt more pressure to call her right away.
When she came back I told her that I was feeling more pressure. She checked me and said "time to call your Dr." When she was talking to my Dr I found out that baby was at +3.
By the time my Dr showed up they told me that I could push. DH & my nurse barely got my knees up to my chest and Baby Ande slid right out. I didn't even have to push. Lol!
*BTW ... yes I got my carbs & sugar lol! DH brought me a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon & a caramel frappaccino .... Yummmmmie!*
*This is one of my favs. (can't believe I forgot to add this the 1st time around)*
