Pains

After I woke up this morning and got ready for work I started having almost cramp like pains in my lower left abdomen.  I am 17 weeks along.  At first I just thought it was ligament pain, but its after 1 now and the pains haven't gone away.  It will let up for a bit and then come right back, but is never completely gone.

I have already called my Dr. and I'm going in this afternoon, they said it could be ligament pain but since I've had it since 7 this morning and it hasn't gone away they just want to be sure everything is ok.

Have any of you had this kind of pain before?  If so was it just ligament pains or was it something else?

I had and still have pains on both sides, sometimes just one side or the other.  Mine tend to hurt and don't always go away.  HTH  and let us know what the dr. says

i had that around 22 weeks...i still dont know what it was...i know some where braxton hicks but i dont know what else it was.  i know it most likely wasnt ligament pain.  it just felt different and i was in a lot of pain.  my last pregnancy i had something similar and it was my cervix shortening.  i hope all is okay.

I get those quite a bit. I am 32 weeks, and they are getting progressively worse. I talked to my doctor about it, and she said that they are probably just round ligament pain, but to keep an eye on it in case they are or turn into real contractions.

I have this pain all the time... the DOC checked me out and said that all was fine, they then checked the baby and the heartbeat and said all was fine. They told me that It was stretching and that the baby was getting bigger and trying to mke room. :) I hope its the same for you. Good luck at the doctor!! :)
