With my first pregnancy, they started around 28 weeks and I didn't get them every day til well over 30 weeks.
How often is normal? Mine started at 24 weeks with this pregnancy and I get them at least 10-15 times a day now. I am wondering if it's normal or if by any chance I'll go into labor early. I know I am only 27 weeks, but I don't recall having them this often with my son. They don't hurt, but they are uncomfortable. They are all in the front, so I am not worried yet. Just wondering.
well I go in on Friday for my sugar test and my monthly checkup so I will definately talk to her about it.

OMG with my second pregnancy I started having terrible BH at about 15 wks. I would have many each day and they would be as severe as my labor contractions with my first son. They would even be frequent for hours and then go away. I gave birth at an estimated 38 wks but come to find out I was actually only 36 wks!! I had started having BH around 15 wks this pregnancy too but my Doula started me on Magnesium and Calcium and they went away. I haven't had one since LOL which is odd to me because I expect that pain during my pregnancy LOL!!! Supposidly you aren't supposed to have more then like 5 an hour but I did and my Midwife wasn't concerned!
talk with your doctor about it...but i wouldn't be worried since its your second pregnancy it willbe different...if they don't hurt i wouldn't worry at all!
i think if you have 5 or more in an hour you are supposed to call. i got them quite often with my last pregnancy too.
I started getting them at about 22 weeks and yeah i've had them pretty fequently the entire pregnancy... They have progressively gotten stronger here towards the end tho. As long as they aren't 10 min apart for more than an two hours straight my doc said no worries. they never made it there so ya.
For many non-first-time mamas, all that preparation and practice stuff can happen bigger and earlier. Not because we'll birth sooner, but because our body is more sensitive & reactive to the hormones.
If you are noticing these becoming regular and intensifying, be sure to work to get them to go away (hydration, nourishment, change of activity...), maybe even give a call in to your provider, too.
Good luck!
:-)
It's hard because I can't even have an orgasm now because when I do, I get contractions and those hurt. Sex these days is basically just for hub's enjoyment cause I don't enjoy it at all.
