What are you going to wear for birthing?

Are you planning on hospital gowns? Do you have something you bought special? Just a tee shirt? What do you think you'll be wearing when the time comes?

My mom bought me a "granny gown" from wal-mart. It snaps up the front and it flows like a hospital gown but it is more comfy, does not leave my butt hanging out, and it hasn't been bled and peed on my other people. I'll wear that when walking around.

When I get into the tub, I have a sleep bra but I have a feeling I'll just be naked anyway. I'm not modest, so I might even be naked the whole time...who knows. I just want to be comfortable.

With my daughter I was in a bra and huge t-shirt (3x). It came down about mid-thigh on me, so I could wander around without underwear and not worry. Later, the bra came off and so did the shirt...I delivered in nothing because I got too hot.

This time I'm hoping to try the water birth again (didn't work last time) and would like a nice swim top or a good bra (so hard for me to find). I will be nursing again, but I don't feel there's a need for my gals to hang out if they aren't being used...they're annoying and get in the way. Before the hard stuff starts though, I'll probably wander around in a dress or nightgown depending on the time of day.

I'll just wear the gowns the hospital provides. I don't mind wearing them.

I've thought about buying my own cute gown, but I don't want to have to deal with washing it myself. So I'll just use the hospitals :)

I plan on putting on a dress I LOVE (This is my last kiddo, so it doesn't matter if it gets dirty) and laboring as LONG as possible in it cause it's SOOO comfy! Then when it's time to go into the hospital to push I'll probably just either try to leave the dress on or just put on one of there gowns... They don't bother me too much, but I HAVE to have a BRA on, it drives me NUTS to not have one on!

For my 1st hospital delivery, I wore the gown.

For my 2nd... I wore a nursing tank top and sweats. The sweats came off when it was time to push. LOL I like to be able to hike the shirt up and get that immediate skin to skin contact at birth.

I like the super-huge T-shirt idea too.

I am thinking to wear this pajama dress that my MIL sent to me awhile back... and a sports bra in the shower/tub!
